Rent a scooter to explore the island of Koh Samui, hit the pristine beaches, and chill out. One favorite choice, Lamai, is easier to reach and also has many food options nearby. If you want to go to a more secluded location like Thong Takian Beach (Silver Beach), remember to take some food with you.
An alternative to visiting a beach includes taking a jeep jungle tour in order to see the tropical forest and experience the grandeur of nature. Koh Samui has a lot of Buddhist temples with marvellous architecture, and a visit to Wat Phra Yai (Big Buddha Temple) is highly recommended.
A trip to Thailand can’t be complete without a spa and massage treatment. About an hour away from Florence, Siena is sucha charming Italian city that has attracted many yogis over the years and will delight history lovers.
Since 1300, Siena, the center of which is recognized as a Unesco World Heritage Site, has held the twice-a-year Palio Horse Race at the piazza del Campo. As one of the world’s biggest medieval squares, everything starts from here.
Start your afternoon walk here, between the cathedral and the piazza, the Duomo of Siena, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Torre del Mangia – all historic landmarks which offer astonishing architecture and should not be missed. Via Banchi di Sopra is the main shopping street where you can find a variety of boutiques, while Via Pantaneto offers stores selling local handicrafts.
